Three week jaunt around the UK

The longest trip ever undertaken in the UK, both in terms of miles and time away.

Day 1, from Sheffield to Daventry, a visit to Roadpro. Night stop.

Day 2, a short journey to the Camping and Caravanning Club, Clent Hills for a two night stay with R&R and cycling.

Day 4 – another short run to refuel at Tesco Telford, then forward to Oswestry for the night.

Day 5 – to Holyhead and two nights at Blackthorn Farm, journey via Llanddulas and beach parking for lunch and a cycle ride.

Day 6 – to Dublin onboard the Stena Superfast X

Day 7 – a scenic journey along the Welsh Coastline to Fishguard

Day 8 – to Rosslare on board the Stena Europe, the “old lady of the seas”

Day 9 – to Pembroke and the Windmill Hill Caravan Site

Day 10 – the pleasures of the Isle of Innishmore

Day 11 – to Wool, via Bath and four nights at Whitemead

Day 12 – to Poole and Guernsey on the HSC Condor Liberation

Day 14 – back to Guernsey on the fast craft with some choppy water

Day 15  – to the CCC Chertsey

Day 16 – to London

Day 17, R&R

Day 18 to Cambridge staying at the CCC revamped site.

Day 20 to Lincoln to view a Burtsner motorhome, but given the price tag and no “real” oven, that was a non starter.
