Boat trip around Lake Garda – bargain “all day” ticket

Boat trip around Lake Garda
  • All day ticket - value for money
4.5

Summary

A good value for money “all day ticket”. Enjoy time sat on the open deck. The bus is cheaper, and often quicker but….this is the bees knees.

For much of the year, generally March to October, a seasonal boat service operates on Lake Garda. A large fleet of boats, including jetfoils, catamarans, car ferries, foot passenger ships and even paddle steamers are operated by Navigazione Laghi. One of the best value options for your Boat trip around Lake Garda is to purchase the all day ticket. At present, a full day ticket costs just over thirty four euro and is valid on all boats and routes. The all day ticket allows use of the high speed jetfoils and catamarans too.

There is also a “southern” day ticket, ideal for exploring Peschiera, Desenzano, Lazise and so on. Likewise, there is a “northern” day ticket – ideal for Riva, Malcesine and Limone. Your choice of ticket will depend upon what you wish to see and where you are staying.

Single and return tickets are also available.

The Galileo Gallilei is getting on a but, but he can still go like the clappers

In order to make the most of the 34 euro, you need to make an early start and be out for about 12 hours or so. Our starting point for the day was at Peschiera. Our first place to visit was Limone, right up at the northern side of ‘Garda. The journey was over two hours and on the jetfoil. Take a flask or some cold drinks. There is no bar on board.

Here are a few photo’s from the day.
