Camping Aquafresca is one of about a dozen campsite within the commune of Livigno. Approaching Livigno from the Passo Forcola, the site is easy to find and is situated on your left. Access to the site is simple enough, even for a larger motorhome. Pitches are about eight metres long, but the owner found us a corner where we were able to pitch with ease. Pitches are formed of grass and gravel.

Camping Aquafresca Livigno

Large camper service point – easy to use for all size vans!

We have a couple of reasons for calling at Livigno. We are running toll-free to Lake Garda via the Bernina Pass. From the Bernina, it is only about eight miles of a detour to Livigno. In Livigno, we have duty-free shopping and diesel at just 72 cents per litre!

If there is a downside to Camping Aquafresca, then it is the location. The site is about three miles from Livigno town centre. However, there is a very frequent bus service to town. Remember that local buses in Livigno are free of charge. It’s not a particularly safe walking route due to a lack of pavements!

Camping Aquafresca

A large corner plot for the Motorhome Voyager

Like all campsites in Livigno, Camping Aquafresca is close to the road, so there is some traffic noise. That said, the road forms a mountain pass, so it’s not the M61!

Livigno is an all year round destination, with skiing in winter, walking and cycling in the summer. Consequently, Camping Aquafresca is open all year round. The site’s website gives more information.
