Summary

Avoid it really, stay at the camper stop closer to the town, with facilities and less cost!

The Camper Stop Peschiera del Garda is located just off “Bella Italia” and is close to the town centre. The parking area slopes both “front to back” and “side to side”.  There is a fresh water tap but no hook up facility. The sosta is quite close to a busy road, so I suspect some noise from traffic may present a problem at night time.

The Camper Stop Peschiera del Garda tariff board indicated a charge of 15 euro per day – possibly explaining why the facility was deserted, more so as numerous campsites are offering stays for 15 euro including electric and use of swimming pools and other onsite facilites. In high season however, when campsites are busier and tariffs are higher, the 15 euro per night seems like a cost effective option. Each parking area was about 7.5 metres in length. Payment was to be made to a machine rather than an attendant.

My view is the local council should offer Camper Stop Peschiera del Garda for a much reduced fee in low season, thus bringing in some revenue rather than the present “nothing at all”

Update January 2020. The present price is 18 euro per night. Over the New Year period, there wasn’t much room at the inn!
