Motorhome aire at Arras

The motorhome aire at Arras is in ideal spot around ninety minutes driving time from Calais. Arras town centre is around a 15 minute walk where you will find an array of shops and of course at this time of year, the annual Christmas Market. The aire is easy to find and will accommodate motorhomes of most shapes and sizes.

Check in at the motorhome aire at Arras is by way of an automatic barrier. Pay by card, take a ticket and you are in. Note that the ticket also shows the code number that you will require in order to access the toilet facility.

This is a well laid out aire and also great value for money at just twelve euro, or there abouts.

Facilities within the aire are favourable and include:

  • Electric hook up, we think this is 16 amps
  • Fresh water point – one euro extra
  • Grey water
  • Chemical disposal point
  • Toilets – the code for the door is printed on the receipt
  • All weather, hard stand plots

If there is a downside, it is the proximity to the fire station – there seemed to be a lot of sirens. However, this is nothing to spoil a stay, and when coupled with adjacent river side location, the pretty town and a short drive from the key channel ports, Arras is a great place for a night or two. Should you think that Arras is a little too far from the ferry terminal on your first night, then remember the aire at Marck. There are various supermarkets in the area – Carrefour, Auchan and E LeClerc to name just three!
