Fiat Ducato radio camper mode

This article will help you to change the settings on your in-cab radio. The instructions here relate to the Fiat X2/90 cab. For clarification, this photo’ shows the Fiat x290 cab – note the slightly slimmer headlights. The X290 is generally 2015 onwards.

Instructions for the Fiat Ducato radio camper mode

Switch on the radio – your display will look like this. OK, you might not be listening to Ella Henderson!

Press the “MENU” button

Once the screen displays as above, press the “BROWSE/ENTER” button. (The screen will display “system settings” by default – this is “highlighted” as shown above.)

Once into the “SYSTEM SETTINGS”, turn the “BROWSE/ENTER” dial to the right. Now, the “Power OFF 180 min Delay” is highlighted.

You will see the square box to the right is unchecked. Now press the “BROWSE/ENTER” button and a tick will appear in the square box.

With the box to the right now “ticked”, the Fiat Ducato radio camper mode is set. The radio will stay on for three hours.

Press the MENU button to return to the main screen.

Switch the radio off – or leave it on!

    Hi there. I don’t suppose you know how to get the Fiat X290 radio from normal to Campervan mode. It is clearly possible as you picture shows that type of radio in Campervan mode. My last van a Fiat X250 I used the combination of key strokes to achieve this. Please help if you can.

    Mine shows 20mins, not 180 mins

    How do I get to 3hrs like yours shows please??
