Not one of our usual stomping grounds, we were tempted in the by special offers at the Haven Touring Park Cleethorpes. Our tariff, off season for one night including electricity – £13! This site is huge – so much so in walking around it is quite possible to get lost. However, let’s look at the touring site rather than the bigger picture which includes hundreds of static caravans. The site is a couple of miles from Cleethorpes town centre but there are frequent buses to town. Alternatively, a pleasant stroll along the prom, or even a trip on the Cleethorpes Light Railway.
On site facilities at the Haven Touring Park Cleethorpes
Facilities here are plentiful and include:
- Hard standing pitches
- Electric hook up is available and paid for separately (low cost)
- Visitor pass which gives access to on site entertainment and the pools etc
- Heated indoor pool
- Onsite shop
- Plenty of places to obtain fresh water or dump grey
- Toilet shower block – quite dated and not the cleanest!
The pricing and value for money here, off season of course, is superb. If you prefer a smaller site, then Cleethorpes Show Ground Camping may suit you better. This site is approximately one mile away and is closer to the town centre.
