We arrived late afternoon at Camping Les Erables and without a reservation. The site had just that day reopened after the winter and so was fairly quiet when we arrived. However there was a steady stream of arrivals to the site throughout the afternoon. Approaching Millau town centre from the north, there are various sign posts for “camping”. Millau is host to many campsites, so it’s a case of take your pick.

Camping les Erables Millau
Approaching the site from the town.
  • Toilet shower block – possibly unisex!
  • Laundry
  • Pot wash
  • Very good size pitches
  • FREE WiFi
  • Facility to pre-order bread/pastries for the following morning

The facility block is possibly unisex. We are not sure if this is “officially” the case! However, it may be a case of campers just going into the wrong part of the block.

Camping les Erables Millau
Camping les Erables Millau features large grassed pitches

Pitches are of a generous size and I estimate most pitches to be about 10 metres long by 10 metres wide. Access to some is tricky though, possibly more so when the trees are in full bloom.

Prices at Camping Les Erables

The tariff is advertised at 12 euro per night, low season.  As a result of using the ACSI card, we paid only eleven euro . The price includes electric hook up, advertised as being six amps.

Camping Les Erables is definitely book marked for a return visit and offers excellent value for money, more so when using the ACSI card. Further information about the site including opening dates can be found by clicking  here!

Have to agree with russell, we used this site on the way down to St Tropez. The site was busy but was not crowded. Bit of a shock at the showers as they are mixed not a bad thing though !!!!. the staff were friendly and very helpful. The town was lovely and only a short walk.
